Q: Do I need experience with tractors to join the team?A: Absolutley not! The 1/4 scale tractor competition is an excellent learning opportunity and requires no experience to become involved. |
Q: Do I have to be in the BAE (Biological and Agricultural Engineering) Department?A: Again, No. It's true that the majority of the team members are students in the BAE Department, but any NC State student is welcome to join. The 1/4 scale tractor competition requires the team to get involved with not only mechanical design, but other areas such as marketing, finance, public relations, etc. A team with a more diverse academic background is a major advantage. |
